故事圍繞著一個中國移民家庭和兩個不同背景的中國女孩展開。Lucia是出生在西班牙的中國移民二代，父母親開雜貨鋪，他們每天工作十幾個小時，不會說西班牙語，她最大的愿望是可以像其他孩子一樣在漢堡王過生日，和擁有一對“正常的父母”。Xiang是被西班牙父母收養(yǎng)的中國女孩，她因身世而感覺到自己和周圍的環(huán)境格格不入，同時也對自己的親生父母有著強(qiáng)烈的好奇。
